WILFRIED N’SONDÉ OU LES RACINES DES ANCÊTRES

Singer, songwriter, novelist, Wilfried N'Sondé compliments theFrancophone literature of recent decades, with his first novel Le coeur desenfants léopards (The heart of leopards’ cubes), published in 2007 byActes Sud, being awarded the Prize of Five Continents of theFrancophony and the Senghor Prize of literary creation. In this firstnovel, Le coeur des enfants leopards, by a reverse play, Wilfried N’Sondépresents a marginalized character who struggles with those of anotherrace, and one night, dead drunk and abandoned by his first love, killswithout realizing his action. It is in prison where he hears, for the firsttime, his ancestors’ voices who speak about his roots, about the leopards’cubes that remind him of the past and reveal him the future.
