Fenomenologia artei şi a experienţei estetice

Marin Aiftincă reprints the volume Mystery of art and aesthetic experience (Ed. Romanian Academy, 2016), a revised and expanded form. The book is an authentic handbook of aesthetics, because we have here, on the one hand, a classical understanding of the foundations of art, with all that entails such a foundation, and on the other hand, an overview upon the art of the angles of (post) modernity, of aesthetic experiences, with the hypostasis of contemporary art, with authors and schools of aesthetics (hence fragments of the history of aesthetics). The exegete defines what art is, relies fundamentally, the categories of aesthetics, emphasizing especially the beautiful and its metamorphosis, as he is interested in it’s artistic value and its metaphysical foundation, of truth and mystery of the artwork and the aesthetic metaphor.
