Zusammenfassung: | Feedback papers were used for four courses of the Institute of Government and Politics at the University of Tartu. At the end of each weekly class, the students wrote down their thoughts and questions on feedback papers. The instructor collected the thoughts and questions of the students, and responded to the questions raised in the class conspectus.Through the feedback papers the instructor became aware of the questions, impressions and thoughts of students regarding the themes discussed in course literature and during in-class debates. The feedback papers enhanced the reciprocal communication between the students and the instructor and between the students themselves as well. Most of the questions asked by students on the feedback papers were reflective in nature. The use of feedback papers demonstrates that students are eager to attend Political Science courses that use individualized reflections that can be shared either between students, or between a student and the instructor. |
