Przedsiębiorczość akademicka, czyli koncepcja spółek typu spin off

This publication aims to describe the genesis of the concept of academic entrepreneurship, its types, sources and ways of financing that kind of activity. The presentation of development of a new kind of entrepreneurship was based on the available literature. The different approaches and trends indicated by the authors were also taken into account. This relatively young sector has got a chance of getting more and more popular and its development will undoubtedly influence in a positive way the functioning of the market economy.
