Професионалните кариери на бежанците в България и Франция

The article examines the specific features of the professional careers that refugees pursue in Bulgaria and France. The discussion is based on the results of my doctoral dissertation. The approach used here is comparative. I refer to the construction of a career typology that aims to define what type of career is predominant in a given societal context. The interesting result of this comparison lies in the paradoxical effect it reveals. The existence of specific deployments for accompanying refugees in Bulgaria would suggest that refugees here develop professional careers close to these deployments, and that they do so to a greater degree than in France. In fact, the opposite is true. I attempt to explain this paradox as well as other paradoxical societal effects on professional careers of refugees in Bulgaria and France.
