Zaharia Stancu

This fragment of a study signed by Alex Stefanescu brings into the readers’ attention the disputed figure of Zaharia Stancu. As a reward, for his support of the communist regime Zaharia Stancu was elected chairman of the Writers’ Union, his literary work was published, translated, and studied in schools.
