CONSIDERATII ASUPRA UNUI COMPLEX DESCOPERIT ÎN PROXIMITATEA SARMIZEGETUSEI REGIA. Un experiment arheologico-judiciar

The present paper deals with the technical description and archaeological interpretation of the pit supposed that has “offer” ten (10) of the dacian golden bracelets. In the year 2000, the archaeological poaches using metal detectors discovered near to the fortress of Sarmizegetusa Regia (Hunedoara County), a large pit with ten multispiralic golden bracelets; very similar with some silver bracelets already knows by the researchers. There presence of the context in the vicinity of the capital of the Dacian Kingdom, near to the “Sacred area”, the quantity and quality of gold, are enough reasons for the strong scientifically debate in Romania. Using the depositions of the witnesses and the specific forensic and archaeological investigations, the authors tried to realize some hypothetical reconstructions of the pit and to understand the archaeological signification of this context. In this moment of research, every “small” detail regarding the context is extremely important for the future historical interpretation of the area of discovery (Caprareata) and especially for the interpretation of the significance and functionality of the golden artifacts found inside the pit.
