Zusammenfassung:Helena Kadare is one of the most unique voices in literature written by women since the 1960s. Over several decades, Kadare has made significant contributions to the literary portrayal of women, reflecting her worldview, her journey through life, and the obstacles she encounters and overcomes. Helena Kadare's literary work is distinguished by clarity of thought and subtle sensitivity to emotions. Her creative focus is on the artistic weaving of the delicate spiritual vibrations of women. In the novels written up to 1990, protagonists like Vera in "Turn off the light Vera", Bardha in "A difficult birth", and Shpresa in "The spouses" stand far from the conventional idealizations of their time. They are conceived and portrayed as authentic figures, and this authenticity arises because the connection between the image and the idea is well realized; thus, they appear naturally and without pretense. Helena Kadare does not view women, as characters, in opposition to men but perceives them as possessing a superior essence - more capable than men in handling everyday life challenges. These characters surpass conventional paradigms and remain inspiring models.
