Zusammenfassung: | If Papa Dada was certainly Tristan Tzara, the Moineşti-born poet, Mama Dada was arguably the German-born Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven (1874–1927). In the following, we will make an esthetically-oriented psychiatric autopsy intent on her personality disorders (the BAD cluster: narcissistic, histrionic, dissocial, borderline) and her mental demise (culminating in her suicide). We will finally focus on her hallucinogen-related disorder (marijuana intoxication) with a view to finding the reasons why her art, styled as “neurasthenic,” is actually“psychotic,” hallucinatory, and delusional. |
