Zbrodnia w Srebrnicy koło Koronowa 26 października 1939 roku

The article describes a crime committed in Srebrnica near Koronowo in October 1939 by members of the local Selbstschutz. The victims were local Polish citizens of Koronowo, known for their patriotic beliefs and pre-war social-political activities. The crime also became a basis for reflections on the pre-war relations prevailing in the lands of Gdańsk Pomerania and the extermination action undertaken by the occupier in the fall of 1939 against the patriotic layer of Polish society (the so-called Intelligenzaktion).
