SITUAŢIA CROAȚIEI ÎN CONTEXTUL GEOPOLITIC ACTUAL

Croatia's foreign policy at the moment is marked, obviously, as expected, by the Hamas attack against Israel. The meetings of the high representatives of Croatia, during this period, want to constitute impulses in the cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and other partner states, for the promotion of regional and global peace and security. The main topics of the most important contacts were the crisis in Israel, the challenges in Kosovo, the war started by the Russian Federation in Ukraine. Domestically, the Government authorized the Ministry of Defense to use budget funds from 2024 to 2026 to equip the Croatian Army with helicopters, and the funding will be provided from the budget of the Ministry of Defense. The President of Croatia recently signed a new Law on electoral constituencies.
