This paper explores and compares quality of life and cost of living in Romania and Hungary, neighboring countries in Central and Eastern Europe. The study focuses on analyzing the differences and similarities between these two countries in terms of fundamental aspects of life. The comparative analysis is based on data provided by the Numbeo platform on the cost of living and quality of life in the two countries. The collected data are schematized and abstracted to identify the strengths and weaknesses of Romania and Hungary. Thus, the study aims to provide a direct comparison between two countries that are geographically similar but distinct in terms of socio-economic conditions.
