Zusammenfassung: | The article is dedicated to the publication of materials from barrow No. 1 near Mykhailivka village, Kamyanka district, Cherkasy Region. The monument was investigated by the Scythian Right-bank expedition in 2018. The height of the barrow mound was 1,25 m, diameter – 25,08-27,7 m. A burnt wooden pillar tomb with dromos was found under it. The grave was surrounded by a clay waste 14,6 m in diameter. The burial chamber measured 3,95x4,25 m. The horseman was buried in it, accompanied by a horse with a bridle. Later, another inlet burial of an adult warrior was made. The grave was robbed. Probably, these burials belong to the ruling elite of a nearby large settlement of the Scythian time. The complexes are dated by the end of the VI-V centuries BC. |
