Evoluţia ştiinţei politice în România – reflecţii pe marginea unui domeniu în continuă schimbare

This article makes some considerations about the evolution of the political science in Romania following the change of the political regime in 1989. Although many issues could be discussed in detail in this framework, the article traces back just the most fundamental changes, like the journals, the status of political science as a discipline taught in universities, the research challenges in the area, etc. The evolution of the main domain and its varieties - political science, international relations, security studies - is also discussed. In the end, the most important challenges ahead of political science in Romania are underlined.
