Zusammenfassung:Essentially, Shakespeare established music as a crucial element in his artistic creations, making it an indispensable presence in the theatrical universe. She was not just an accompaniment, but a distinct voice, amplifying the emotions of the characters and providing a sublime soundscape for each scene. By integrating stage language with musical sound, Shakespeare created a vibrant fresco, bringing the characters to life and evoking a range of emotions in the hearts of the audience. Music thus became the driving force that defined every moment in his songs. More than forty of his works have been adapted to stage music, being turned into captivating operas and ballets by renowned composers such as Gioacchino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi, Charles Gounod, Leonard Bernstein, Henry Purcell and Pascal Bentoiu, reflecting the strong influence that Shakespeare has had a hold on the artistic and cultural world throughout time.
