We must follow this direction with uncompromising exactitude. Otherwise, we will live in anenvironment of insecurity that benefits the minority at the expense of the majority. One of the fundamental objectives of theEuropean Union is to create a space without internal borders, where people can move, live and work, with the firm belief that theirrights are fully respected and their security is guaranteed
