CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS FOR OPTIMAL TRANSITION FROM KINDERGARTEN TO SCHOOL (Theoretical approach)

This article aims to highlight the role that each partner of education has in successfully achieving the transition from kindergarten to school. The theoretical study is structured on two parts preceded by an introduction and followed by conclusions. The first part deals with the importance of school maturity for a successful transition, highlighting the role of kindergarten in preparing the ground for future development on all levels. The second part brings to attention the idea of cooperation between kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers, in order to ensure continuity in children's development. Without the pretense of an exhaustive treatment of the topic, we aim to highlight the role that good cooperation and reporting to the curriculum ensures a natural and efficient transition of the children from kindergarten to school.
