Oportunităţi şi riscuri specifice ale utilizării I.A. în procesul civil

This paper discusses various applications of artificial intelligence in civil litigation, ways of implementation as well as possible uses for streamlining various incidental proceedings of court cases. Moreover, we stressed the need for regulation in the field of A.I. is addressed, i.e., the impact it may have on the related activities of judges and other actors involved in civil trials in Romania. An attempt has been made to highlight the lack of regulation in this field and the possible applications of A.I. in compliance with fundamental procedural guarantees, and finally, the current situation of the regulatory framework that hinders the use of A.I. in the Romanian civil process is comparatively analysed.
