Zusammenfassung: | The consequences of the implementation of the common agricultural policy and the common market for agricultural products are primarily felt by farmers within the Community (internal effects). To a lesser extent and indirectly, they also concern farmers outside the Community (external effect). One of the main internal effects is the creation of Community self-sufficiency in agricultural products. As for the position of farmers, their incomes are, despite all the measures of the common agricultural policy, still lower than their colleagues in industry. Also, not all consumers benefit from such policies. As for the impact of the implementation of the common agricultural policy on non-member third countries, it has already been mentioned that its goal is to protect domestic producers from competition from the foreign market. |
