Zusammenfassung:Introduction. A healthy population of young students in the period of developing autonomy, self-control and getting to know a new environment at the beginning of their studies forms their social and professional skills that will affect the quality of life, but will affect the mental and physical health of young women. The aim of the study was to determine the level of stress, anxiety and depression in young students with the DASS-21 self-assessment test. Methodology: Epidemiological observational analytical research included a representative sample of 408 healthy female students aged 19 to 22 years. For testing, we used a socio-demographic questionnaire, a standardized DASS-21 test (short version) to assess behavioral change, and anthropometric measurements of weight and body mass index (BMI) were performed with an Omron BF 510 medical device. Results: The sample consists of female students with average age = 20.5 years, height 168.65 cm (SD = 6.01), body weight 63.09 kg (SD = 9.9) and BMI 22.1 (SD = 3.2) ). A high Cronbach α value (≥0.80) was determined by DASS -21 analysis. By descriptive analysis, we determined the Mean value for stress 17.2; for anxiety 18 and depression 6. Friedman test (χ2 = 424.63 for df = and p = 0.000) found that there is a strong statistically significant difference between the 3 sub scores. In summary, we have the highest percentage of serious and extreme behavior in the category of anxiety 23.5%, followed by the variable stress 18.6% and the lowest in the category depression 10.5%. It is necessary to form a multidisciplinary team with various activities that would help young women to overcome behavioral change.
