O carte din biblioteca principelui Barcsai

Acaţiu (Ákos) Barcsai was one of those characters who had influenced the political and cultural development of Transylvania. He acted both as politician and soldier - and the climax of his career’ was the appointment as Transylvanian voivode in 1658. He also was an ambassador, having accomplished many diplomatic missions. At Teleki - Bolyai Library from Târgu-Mureş we can find a small-sized book containing two short texts The book - in fact a coligat - was bound together by its first owner - probably the prince Barcsai. His property mark appears twice in the pages of the publication, a fact that allows to consider him as one of the Transylvanian bibliophiles of his times.
