Administrator of SAC Chen Gang Met Dr. Stampfl-Blaha

Member of the Leading Party Group of AQSIQ and Administrator of SAC Chen Gang met Dr. Stampfl-Blaha in Beijing in the morning of April 9, 2012. Chen Gang briefly introduced the standardization work of China, China＇s participation in international standardization, and the new thoughts of standardization work in the 12th Five-Year Plan period. He expressed his thanks for the consistent support from ISO to the international standardization work of China and hoped that the cooperation with ISO could be further enhanced. Dr. Stampfl-Blaha spoke highly of the contribution China has made to the development of ISO, and also delivered her appreciation for the constructive advices proposed by China on the important policies and the management of ISO. She stated that she would back the deeper and wider participation of China in ISO activities.
