Zusammenfassung:This chapter a presents strategies that appear important for successful management of tuberculosis (TB) in cattle, which is largely targeted at countries with a high gross national income (GNI) economy. However, the ability to successfully manage infection in some of these high GNI countries is being threatened by wildlife TB maintenance hosts. Therefore, this chapter added a section which discussed the means of identifying and managing this exposure. Finally, a section that describes the largely under-diagnosed -related problem facing people and livestock in low to medium-high GNI countries and some actions that could be used to reduce the risk of exposure were also included.
