This book constitutes revised selected papers from the jointly held conferences FHIES 2014, 4th International Symposium on Foundations of Health Information Engineering and Systems, and SEHC 2014, 6th International Workshop on Software Engineering in Health Care. The meeting took place in Washington, DC, USA, in July 2014. The 16 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 23 submissions.
