Abstract Poetry is the mirror of Arabic life , and truthful image of Arab traditions , their customs , and values . Otherwise , it represents the spirit of Arab and expresses it . It also exposes the Arabic life with all its fe atures As well as ,it records the historical events . As a a matter of fact , the poet has a high position in his community and tribe , because he is the speaker mouth , the protector of its dignity , presenter of its goals , immortalizing its victory . The recent study entitled " the poetry of ampassador poets in u mayyad period " . it exposes the role and the mission of the Umayyad poets who represented their tribes and folks as ambassador to the caliphs . The paper tries to explain the concept of ambassador , its goals , missions which were explained by the ambassador poets .
