تأثير التخاصية على أداء المؤسسات المخصخصة في الأردن

This study attempts to asses the performance of the priva-tized firms and institutions in Jordan by comparing their performance before and after the privatization process. The criteria of performance adopted are : revenues, profitability, productivity, employment, wages level, prices of products and equities. Specifically the study investigates the effects of the pri-vatization on the performance of these institutions in order to reach a number of conclusions and recommendations that may be helpful for the decisionmakers to develop the strate-gy of privatization in Jordan. The study was carried out by using a corresponding ques-tionnaire in addition to other sources of related available data. In general, the results of the study point out that the pro-cess of privatization didn't improve the performance of these institutions, even though there were a decline in the perfor-mance in most of them . These results imply the necssity to review the methods and procedures implemented for the exe-cution of this process in Jordan
