Zusammenfassung:Iraq enjoyed a number of national economists in the royal era (1921-1958), why played a prominent role in the stabilization of the modern Iraqi state economically. Among them are Abdulrahman al-Jalili, who had held several posts including the Reconstruction Council, member at the Nation Council twice for Mosul and a professor of economics and finance at Iraqi and Arab universities. He had worked as a translator, researcher in economics and history, as well as numerous studies and reports published in various Iraqi and Arab magazines and newspapers. He played a prominent role in the Council of Reconstruction between 1954-1958 which is what this research attempts to show across four sections: First, Abdul Rahman al-Jalili, his life and his political and cultural activity.
