Zusammenfassung:The dynamic characteristics of a linear system are influenced by the location of its poles. For discrete-time systems, a novel regional pole-placement method of placing the eigenvalues corresponding to the region within a logarithmic spiral (which actually translates into a well-developed continuous-time system) is developed. Essentially, the method proposes a simple technique of fitting a circle within a logarithmic spiral. (AIAA)
