Since the problem involves and unknown entrance velocity, a calculation assuming the entrance velocity profile is no longer suitable, and a special numerical formulation is designed. The results demonstrate the importance of the ratio Ra/Re-squared and its role in governing the heat transfer mechanisms. (AIAA) |
