Turbulence Modification in Dilute Small-Particle-Laden Liquid Jets

The effects of small particles on fluid turbulence in a round water jet using a two-channel discriminator laser Doppler velocimeter is determined. The turbulence modulation effects of particles of two sizes and initial mass loadings in an axisymmetric jet were investigated.
