- The first edition of Seed Plants Illustrated Book was published by Inner Mongolia Education Press in 1977. The book briefly introduces the shape, growth environment, distribution, and use of each variety of plants, and is accompanied by hand-drawn illustrations reflecting the details of each part of the plant. The appendix of the dictionary also collects terminology related to the field of seed botany research, tables for identifying plants, and Mongolian, Chinese, and Latin indices. A total of 183 families and more than 1,500 species of plants are included. This revised edition is based on the first edition. More than 60 new plant species have been added, the botanical names have also changed, color printing has been adopted for the first time, more than 2,000 new color photos of plants have been added, and the original hand-drawn illustrations have been added, which is more intuitive and comprehensive. It is not only a supplement to the previous version, but also an innovation based on solid scientific research work, so that it can more comprehensively and systematically reflect the current status of seed plants and resources. This book is a monograph on seed plant research in our region. It is a must-have reference book for those engaged in botanical research, teaching, translation and production management personnel, and can also be used as an important material for international exchanges or cooperation in plant research.
