Zusammenfassung:Joaquin Boz (b.1987) is the first monograph to be published on the work of the Argentine born painter. It compiles his fruitful production of oil paintings made on various supports between 2011 and 2022. This publication gives an account of the various processes and moments that the artist's production went through between figuration and abstraction, the small and extra large formats that he managed to cover during this period. Through this selection of works, the axes and pictorial concerns of the artist and his vocabulary are discovered, the diversity of supports and techniques used in the production processes, as well as the mutation that was generated most recently in the color palette of he. The reproductions of the works are accompanied by three texts by the curator Sofía Dourron, the author Pablo Katchadjian and the plastic artist and engineer Adrián Unger. This publication is accompanied by the edition of a 93 x 62.6 cm poster created and designed especially for the book. organic Joaquin Boz (Rojas, Argentina 1987) is a mainly abstract painter. His works flow, are immediate, arise from a spontaneous process. Since 2012 he has used his hands as the main tool to spread, stain, dirty, accumulate and load the supports with which he experiments very precisely when creating. Regardless of size, the paintings are composed of anti-heroic gestures that celebrate the potential of touch and make their physical presence on record. Since 2011 he lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He participated in numerous collective and individual exhibitions and was selected and awarded in various contests and salons in Argentina. He works with Barro (Buenos Aires & New York), Steve Turner (Los Angeles) galleries and since 2023 he collaborates with Perrotin Gallery (Seoul)
