Reverend sir, the publick having been encouraged to expect a new edition of The parochial history of the county of Cornwall, by Mr. William Hals, of merther, in that county, deceased, and there appearing to be in his manuscripts of it many things with may be well omitted, as they do not immediately fall under that subject, and also some things wanting which may be added with advantage to a work of this kind, I take leave to request the favour of your communicating to me whatever you think may be acceptable to the publick on this subject
