In the 1980s, while he was at the peak of his career, he undertook a recording project of the last eight concertos for piano by Mozart with one of the greatest German orchestras, the Berliner Philharmoniker. These performances were recorded in the neoclassic frame of the Siemens-Villa in Berlin, which takes its name from the famous patron and music lover Ferdinand Werner Siemens. These movies represent an extraordinary memory of the main interpretation existing at that time of these Concertos for piano by Mozart, considered as real masterpieces. Among the 27 piano concertos composed by the genious of the Classical era, the 20th is the only one, along with the 24th, to be written in a Minor key. Composed in 1785 in Vienna, it was premiered one day only after the score was achieved. Rumor has it that Joseph Haydn was in the audience that night, while Mozart himself was playing the soloist part. It is a passionate score, which features an almost violent orchestra, and impressions of tornados and storms ... A few years only before the Romantics were born
