The allergies to which children are subject are discussed in clear, straightforward language, as are the basic principles of atopic disease. There are sections on prophylaxis of allergy, common mistakes in the care of the allergic patient, the optimistic approach to the care of the allergic patient, anaphylaxis in man, and the immunoglobulins.
