It also happens to be one of the most comprehensive schools covering almost all of the forefront topics. It has been convenient in recent years to "split" the school into two parts. The first part of the 1995 school lasted three weeks and covered in great depth the many exciting developments occurring in superstring theories, duality and supersymmetric field theories. This part ended with an intensive two-day workshop in which some of the participants presented talks on their own reserach.The second part of the school lasted four weeks and essentially covered the most active research areas in high energy phenomenology as well as cosmology. The increasingly important role that supersymmetry plays in phenomenology was clearly brought out in the lectures. A number of discussion groups were also formed and the participants played a key role in their success."--Publisher's website | ||
