Prior to this he was the Deputy Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. Katharine Thompson has been a lecturer at De Montfort University since 1991. She previously taught part time at Glasgow Caledonian University, whilst a research student Katharine s major areas of teaching and research are Public Law, Employment Law, and Food Law. Chris Willett is a Professor of Consumer Law at De Montfort University. His main areas of research are food and general product quality and safety, liability for defective services, unfair contract terms, and European consumer and private law.
