A prospect of the most famous parts of the world. - Reproductions of the originals in Cambridge University Library and the British Library. - STC (2nd ed.), 23043. - Skelton, R.A. County atlases of the British Isles, 18. - Some of the maps are signed by Jodocus Hondius, and "all were engraved by him or under his direction in his workshop at Amsterdam" (Skelton 7). The exception is the map of England, recut by Abraham Goos and dated 1632. - The last leaf is blank. - The second leaf after 126 is numbered 129; the second leaf after 132 is numbered 135. - The text is mainly taken from: Camden, William.
