Determination of Protoveratrine II. : Separation of Protoveratrines A and B from Associated Alkaloids

Commercial preparations of protoveratrines A and B were found to contain several associated veratrum alkaloids. The individual alkaloids may be separated by partition chromatography, using pH 3.0 buffer adsorbed on Celite® as stationary phase.
