The synthesis of 1,2,3,4‐tetrahydronaphthalene‐1‐13C, naphthalene‐1‐13C, and 1‐naphthalenol‐1‐13C in 98, 81, and 82% overall yields respectively from 4‐phenylbutanoic‐1‐13C acid is described.
