Flight Distances of Black-Billed Magpies in Different Regimes of Human Density and Persecution

The effects of human density and persecution on magpie flushing response and flight distance were examined. Magpies were studied in 11 locations in urban, nonpersecuted, rural, nonpersecuted and rural, persecuted populations.
