Zusammenfassung:	In this open-label, randomized trial conducted in seven sub-Saharan African countries, patients for whom an initial HIV-1 treatment regimen had failed were switched to a second-line regimen of either dolutegravir or darunavir plus either tenofovir or zidovudine. Dolutegravir was noninferior to darunavir and tenofovir was noninferior to zidovudine in their effects on viral suppression at 48 weeks.
