Zusammenfassung: | The concept of a fire-safe device for permanent or periodically operated research and industrial long-term bases located on the Moon is presented. The concept is based on the analysis of factors that determine the fire hazard of these structures, as well as the results of research processes of combustion and explosion of structural polymeric materials, taking into account the influence of conditions on the Moon on the course of these processes.
•Approach, technologies and technical solutions to ensure fire-explosion safety of lunar base facilities are analyzed.•Methods and means of ensuring fire safety of equipment intended for use at the lunar base are described.•Fireproof arrangement of electrical equipment intended for use in inhabited pressurized compartments is presented.•Аbility of polymeric materials to detonate in liquid oxygen is determined. |
