An incisive optical recognition of monohydrogen phosphate by a fluorescein-based chemodosimeter

Numerous methods for the determination of phosphates (H 2 PO 4 − , HPO 4 2− , PO 4 3− , PPi) are described in the literature. However, the design of optical probes which are able to recognize specifically monohydrogen phosphate (MHP) ions, i.e. HPO 4 2− , has been rarely considered. We herein devise...

Zusammenfassung:Numerous methods for the determination of phosphates (H 2 PO 4 − , HPO 4 2− , PO 4 3− , PPi) are described in the literature. However, the design of optical probes which are able to recognize specifically monohydrogen phosphate (MHP) ions, i.e. HPO 4 2− , has been rarely considered. We herein devised an incisive chemodosimeter ( FLH ) for detecting HPO 4 2− over other phosphates successfully. We herein devised an incisive chromofluorogenic chemodosimeter ( FLH ) for detecting HPO 4 2− over other phosphates, viz. H 2 PO 4 − , PO 4 3− , and PPi.
