Communication terminal and program therefor

In a communication terminal where a running application is not managed by an OS (operating system), a message is received without a communication connection being established, and if the message is destined for a running application, receipt of the message is notified to the running application. In mobile device MS, CPU writes in key information area of RAM key information for identifying a Java application which is being run using KVM program , using OS software and JAM program stored in nonvolatile memory . CPU , when receiving a SMS message, and further if a content of the message matches the key information written in key information area , writes information that the message has been received in an area reserved in RAM for the running Java application.
