| Zusammenfassung: | A method for treating a condition related to the development of Alzheimer's disease(AD) is disclosed. The method involves the removal of circulating autoantibodies of a biochemical marker or markers, specifically human glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH), from the sera of a patient in an amount effective to reduce or eliminate phagocytosis of astrocytic cells. The invention further includes a process of immune system modulation effective for autoantibody removal. |
