Hair cell lösemiye bağlı dev dalak olgusunda splenektomi (Olgu sunumu)

Hairy cell lösemi, splenomegali ile seyreden nadir görülen kronik bir lenfopoliferatif hastalıktır. Dört yıldır hairy cell lösemi sebebiyle tedavi gören 67 yaşındaki erkek hastada spleneomegali saptandı. Komplikasyonların önlenmesi amacıyla splenektomi uygulandı. Hairy cell lösemi ile uyumlu olarak immunohistokimyasal çalışma ile CD3, CD20, TRAP pozitif bulundu. Hairy cell lösemiye bağlı dalağın dev boyutlara ulaştığı vakalarda komplikasyonların oluşumunun engellenmesi ve hastalığın kemoterapiye cevabının olumlu olması için splenektomi etkili bir tedavi yöntemidir. Hairy cell leukemia is a rare chronic lymphoproliferative disease which goes with splenomegaly. Splenomegaly was determined in the 67 years old male patient have been treated for hairy cell leukemia for four years. Splenectomy was performed for preventing complications of splenomegaly. CD3, CD20, TRAP were determined as positive with the immunohistochemical studies which was suitable for hairy cell leukemia. For the patients with giant size of spleen due to hairy cell leukemia, splenectomy is an effective theraphy method, to prevent the complications and for favourable response to chemoterapy.
