It is a reprint, edited with translation and notes, of two Latin recognizances into which Thomas Dekker of Whitechapel entered in 1608 and 1609 before a Middlesex justice. In one he was bound over to keep the peace towards Agnes Preston; in the other he and others stood as sureties for Jane Allerd to keep the peace towards Frances Jeffrey.
