Hydrodynamics of rigid magnetic suspensions

Using a model of dilute suspension of rigid spherical magnetic particles, the hydrodynamic behaviour of a magnetic fluid is given. Emphasis is being laid on the anisotropic properties of a magnetic fluid under the exertion of an applied magnetic field.
