description This study focuses on the design and development of a process for extracting high-quality natural fibers from banana pseudo stems. While manual extraction of banana fiber results in good-grade fiber, it is time-consuming and incurs high labor costs with low output. Mechanization is identified as the optimal solution for efficient banana fiber extraction. Existing equipment for banana fiber extraction is manual and unsuitable for large-scale production. Given how straightforward the mechanism is, anyone can operate the device thanks to its simple design. Blade, belt, and pulleys, as well as the motor and roller shaft, are the main parts used. This model can be used to remove the fiber from banana stems in the textile industry. This project addresses these challenges by introducing a specialized machine for extracting banana stem fiber, offering a user-friendly and efficient solution for the fiber industry.
